For 1 egg, use one of the following in recipes:
- 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 Tbl water, 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 tsp. apricot puree
- 1 1/2 tsp. water, 1 1/2 tsp. oil, 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 packet gelatin, 2 tsp. warm water (only mix when READY to use)
I also read about the ground flax seed, but need to look up proportions (think these were all from your "vegetarian" magazine, so you could check on-line if you have questions.)

- "ovo" - prefix

- Apovitellenin
- Levitin
- Ovalbumin
- Ovomucin
- Ovumucoid
- Ovovitellin
- Phosvitin
- lysozyme (Europe)
- Simplesse -(fat substitute made from egg or milk protein)
