- Apples, thinly sliced
- Flour
- 2 Eggs
- Milk or water
- Salt
- Grappa (very strong traditional liquor) to taste
- White sugar
- Cut apples into thin slices (about 1/4 inch).
- Mix remaining ingredients to form a runny dough.
- Coat apples in dough.
- Fry in oil until dough is golden brown. Remove. Sprinkle with sugar.
