Waffles -- "Fake-it"

Pioneer Brand Baking Mix - I use buttermilk, but any are ok
If you can't find Pioneer, others work, we just like this --it's by the flour, not the pancake mix in the grocery store

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups baking mix
• 1 1/2 - 2 teaaspoons cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon cloves

stir above together

• 1 1/2 cups milk (soymilk ok)
• 2 eggs
• a little vanilla
• a little sugar
  

Don't overmix ingredients, stir by hand

Add 2 - 3 Tablespoons oil (canola oil) or spray waffle maker inbetween every waffle (if use oil in batter, only spray before first waffle) - if sticking, use the spray...

***Wait until steamming slows from waffle maker before opening -- they tear in half if you peek early. Usually need to wait for reheating between waffles- about a min. closed.
